Hinckley Downes manager Scott Machin was a disappointed man after his side conceded four second half goals to Gornal Athletic and crashed out of The FA Cup at the Preliminary Round stage.
In the first game of the Round, the hosts, from the East Midlands Counties League, started well and created a few chances, and were happy to go into half time with the game goalless.
But in the second half Hinckley crumbled and Gornal took advantage. Geoffrey Hill scored twice, his fist coming after the hour mark with a well taken goal and Chris Brown added another and Ryan Nash completed the rout in the final two minutes.
Machin said: "I am very disappointed to go out of The FA Cup at this stage and at the moment I am angry with our second half performance and I have let the players know that.
"The FA Cup is a very important competition for us financially and also because of the prestige and history it holds and it would have meant a lot to progress to the next round.
"I would like to congratulate Gornal Athletic for their performance and I don't think we can argue that they were worthy winners, but I think four goals was a little bit harsh on us."
The Preliminary Round of The FA Cup continues this weekend, with the winners from each of the 166 ties claiming £1,500 from The FA's Prize Fund.
