Suffolk's U18s gained revenge over holders West Riding by dumping them out of The FA County Youth Cup at the Semi-Final stage.
The Yorkshire side beat Suffolk on penalties in last year's final, but second-half strikes from Ben Seaman and Chris Henderson at a blustery Woodbridge Town ground took Suffolk through to their third final in four years.
The windy conditions made it difficult for both teams to play football in a first half of few chances. West Riding's youngsters started well, but Suffolk's Dale Smith was impressive at centre back as his team came back into the contest.
Suffolk came out fighting in the second half and they opened the scoring when Seaman latched onto a long ball and finished smartly.
From then on there was only one winner, and Henderson sealed the victory 15 minutes from time with a goal worthy of any contest. The deep-lying striker hit a first-time volley from twenty yards which left the West Riding 'keeper with no chance.
"We're delighted with the result," said Suffolk manager Andy Gould.
"You don't like to talk about revenge, but it makes up a bit for last year.
"As a team, we defended particularly well. Our midfielders denied them space and from 20 minutes in I thought there was only one winner."
