The FA County Youth Cup
First Round
Ties to be completed by 08 October 2006
Nathan Chambers became an instant FA County Youth Cup hero when he rounded off a dramatic fightback for Westmorland by firing his side into the second round of the competition to face Cumberland.
Shropshire raced into an early 2-0 lead with first-half strikes from Daniel Balla.
Robert Wilson got one back for the home side with a penalty just after the break, but Shropshire regained their two-goal lead just minutes after when Jason Francis found the net.
The goal spurred Westmorland into action and Wilson netted his second goal from the spot before Gary Baker got them level midway through the half.
Westmorland booked their place on the next round with just over 15 minutes on the clock when Chambers struck to make it 4-3 to the home side.
Westmoreland's management team of Mike Graham and Ian Caradiss were all smiles at the whistle.
Graham beamed: "We are delighted with the result and the outstanding second-half performance."
Westmorland weren't the only side to come from behind as Staffordshire fought back to run out 2-1 winners at the Isle of Man.
A Jamie Skillen penalty gave the home side the lead with only 16 minutes on the clock before the visitors levelled matters four minutes later through Tom Madden.
With only 15 minutes remaining Madden grabbed his and Staffordshire's second to earn them a First Round Qualifying clash at home to Northumberland.
