Liverpool Community Shield preview

We bring you the build up from the Liverpool camp as they shape up for another important match with Chelsea.

With hours to go until the big kick-off and we bring you our exclusive video preview from the Liverpool camp as they prepare to take on the English Champions Chelsea.

It is the first time that Rafa Benitez will come up against Chelsea since masterminding the victory over the West London side at Old Trafford which saw the Reds reach The FA Cup Final.

Despite contesting a number of intriguiging battles with the Blues during his two seasons at Anfield, Benitez feels that they are better equipped than ever to take on Mourinho's men.

He said: "We have a better team than last season, and also a better squad. We can play against them now with more possibilities.

"The important thing before games is to explain the tactics and how we expect the other team to play, and also to give them confidence to play. It is also important to be calm."

Benitez clearly has the full backing of his players, as both John Arne Riise and Peter Crouch praised his managerial skills.

Left-sided defender Riise said: "He's maybe the best manager in the world tactically, he knows so much about the opposition and he knows exactly how to get the best out of players.

"I've been told by the boss that because I have such a good shot that I just have to shoot more often and I'm doing that more now."

England striker Crouch said: "The manager's always talking about the next game and how we can improve, and I guess that is the mark of the man."
