Arsenal's Jose Antonio Reyes hit a second-half brace to beat Chelsea 2-1 in the FA Cup Fifth Round in 2003/04.


We continue our build-up to this season's FA Community Shield by remembering Arsenal's FA Cup Fifth Round win over their London rivals in February 2004.

Jose Antonio Reyes was the star for the Gunners as he hit a second-half brace to cancel out Adrian Mutu's goal for Chelsea.

The Spanish international had only been signed by Arsene Wenger the previous month and he delighted the Highbury faithful with his first goals for the club.

The first was a brilliant 22 yard shot which flew past the outstretched arms of Carlo Cudicini in the visitors' goal.

Five minutes later Patrick Vieira threaded a beautifully weighted pass through for Reyes and the new signing showed considerable composure to finish calmly past substitute 'keeper Sullivan.
