The 133rd FA Cup competition, with its 737 entries, kicks-off with an Extra Preliminary Round on 17 August.
And today we unveil details of the first three rounds of this year's edition of the oldest domestic cup competition.
On a busy day for four of The FA's Competitions, the early draws for The FA Carlsberg Trophy, FA Carlsberg Vase and FA Youth Cup have also been made.
In the opening weekend of this season's Cup campaign, there will be 185 ties and will feature two Northern League clubs with great histories.
One of them, Bishop Auckland, who won The FA Amateur Cup ten times and reached the Fourth Round of The FA Cup in the 1950s, have been handed a home tie with Northern Counties East club Tadcaster Albion.
Meanwhile, Whitley Bay, regular Wembley visitors in The FA Vase and with a Third Round appearance in The FA Cup, have to travel to fellow Northern League side Team Northumbria.
Wembley FC, the Combined Counties League club whose Vale Farm ground is a couple of miles from Wembley Stadium, included some former Internationals in their FA Cup side last season with the help of sponsors Budweiser.
They won their home Extra Preliminary Round tie 3-2 against Langford with the likes of Caniggia, Parlour and Le Saux but then crashed out in a home replay with Uxbridge.
A more familiar Wembley FC line-up will play away to AFC Kempston Rovers this time. A win will send the Lions to Ware in the Preliminary Round on 31 August.
South Park, also from the Combined Counties League, won through to the Fourth Round Qualifying for the first time last season. The club from near Reigate in Surrey have an away tie in the Extra Preliminary Round at Mole Valley SCR as they hope to start another long run.
Clubs coming in at the Preliminary Round stage include Sheffield, Harlow Town, Redbridge and Marlow. Sheffield, the world’s oldest football club, have been drawn at home to Parkgate or Shirebrook Town.
Harlow Town, who famously beat Leicester City, entertain Walsham Le Willows or Tower Hamlets. Redbridge reached the Second Round two seasons ago and start at home to Burnham Ramblers. Marlow, who once played Spurs, welcome Chertsey Town to the Alfred Davis Ground.
Due to the change in the structure of The FA Cup, the number of clubs accepted is lower than last season. The number of club’s exempt to the First Round Qualifying and Preliminary Round has been increased due to the increased number of clubs that will be playing at Step 3 and 4 of The FA National League System.
As a result, the Extra Preliminary Round, contested by Step 5 and 6 clubs, requires fewer ties and therefore a higher number of clubs that competed at Step 6 last season had to be rejected. This was done on their points per game average from last season.
There is an increase in The FA Trophy entries but, consequently, fewer clubs will compete in The FA Vase than last season. This is again, due to the increased number of clubs playing at Step 3 and 4 of The FA National League System.
On a positive note, the total Prize Fund distribution for each competition has been increased by 5% by the National Game Board and it was decided that the increases would be reflected in the opening two rounds of each competition.
