The Pigeon Detectives became the latest UK artists to put their case forward to win The FA Cup Anthem for this season.
The indie-rock band from Leeds performed their new single ‘Animal’ at stadium:mk before the Fifth Round clash between MK Dons and Barnsley.
After seeing attempts from grime-artists Lethal Bizzle and Devlin to stake their claims in the previous rounds, the Detectives will now be hoping that they’ve done enough to earn the public vote to win.
And you can watch their full performance and thoughts on the experience on FATV in the Media Gallery above before making your choice.
The winner will be chosen by the British public after the Semi-Finals via the official FA Cup website and videos of the performances and artist updates will be available on The FA Cup’s facebook page.
Whoever comes out on top to win The FA Cup Anthem will see their tune played at Wembley as the teams emerge for The FA Cup Final on 11 May.
Speaking about their performance, singer Matt Bowman said: "It was good, I enjoyed it! I wish we could have done a couple more songs.
"I think a band like us appeals to the terraces and the everyday, working class man that comes to football.
"So I like our chances!”
