Uxbridge hot-shot and fuel tank driver Matty Woods wants to fire his side further in The FA Cup, after his hat-trick demolished Wembley FC in a Preliminary Round replay to set-up Saturday's tie with Berkhamsted.
Woods' treble against a Budweiser-backed Wembley outfit last week put the Middlesex club just four games away from the First Round Proper and now he's hoping they can enjoy something of a Cup run in a competition he holds in high regard.
"The FA Cup's massive, the biggest in England," he told FATV.
"I'm a Spurs fan and I remember Gazza and Lineker playing for Tottenham and Gazza's free-kick against David Seaman at Wembley in 1991, great, great days.
"We're not going to get that far, but hopefully we can get a bit further and it will be nice to get through the next round against Berkhamsted.
"After that, you could meet a team from another league again and it would be nice to get to the First Round Proper, but we've got a long way to go yet."
