Some familiar names from The FA Cup's amazing history featured in the Second Round Qualifying on Saturday.

Among those getting knocked out were Havant & Waterlooville, who lost 1-0 at North Leigh, and Grays Athletic, who went down 5-0 at home to Maidstone United.

Grays reached the Second Round Proper in 2006, but that hardly compares to the mighty Havant, who beat Notts County and Swansea in 2008 on their way to a memorable Fourth Round tie against Liverpool, which they ultimately lost 5-2 at Anfield.

Elsewhere, Vauxhall Motors, who knocked out QPR in 2002, lost 1-0 at Stalybridge Celtic and Chasetown, who made the Third Round proper in 2008, crashed 2-1 at Dereham Town.

Now the chance for unlikely FA Cup glory in May falls to those winners as well as teams such as St Albans City, 6-2 victors at Ashford Town, and FC Halifax Town - their 6-0 victory over Abbey Hey was the biggest win of the day.

Even more goals entertained the spectators at Trafford's 5-3 win over Spennymoor Town and there were also eight to savour in Hinckley United's 5-3 triumph against Tividale. It was also the same scoreline as Histon won away at Eastwood Town.
