Arlesey Town survived a late Brackley Town fightback to edge a seven-goal thriller and go into the The FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying.

On a dramatic day of Cup action, hosts Arlesey raced into a three-goal lead thanks to Jeanmal Prosper's brace and one from Aston Goss.

Brackley pulled one back before the interval through Brett Solkhon, but Shane Blackett restored Arlesey’s three-goal cushion in the 65th minute.

Arlesey appeared to be cruising towards the next round, but a Steve Diggin penalty and a Marvin Robinson header set up a grandstand finish.

However, the hosts held on to secure the win and take their place in Monday's draw.

Boreham Wood are also through to the next phase after they clinically despatched Northwood 4-0.

Cliff Akurang, David Hutton, Inih Effiong and Rob Hastings, who scored with his first touch, all netted for the Hertfordshire outfit.

Ilkeston also notched four as they defeated Gresley at New Manor Ground.

Aaron Hooton, Daryll Thomas (2) and Matt Richards were all on target, while Marc Goodfellow chalked up a double for the visitors.

Didcot Town sealed their passage into the Fourth Round Qualifying for first time in their history after Morgan Williams’ 40th-minute strike earned them a narrow 1-0 win at home to Maidenhead.

Meanwhile, a Jamie Slabber brace helped Chelmsford City record a 2-1 victory at Cray Wanderers.

Two goals in 13 second-half minutes allowed Boston United to see off Tadcaster Albion 2-0 at 2inspire Park.

Mark Jones opened the scoring for Boston, before Marc Newsham put the result beyond doubt from the penalty spot on the hour mark.
