Braintree Town ace Brad Quinton once scored a goal against England goalkeeper Joe Hart in what is his favourite FA Cup moment to date.

Now he's hoping to help his side to a Cup upset against League One high-fliers Tranmere Rovers on Sunday in front of a national TV audience.

And if that happens, then he'll have more than his First Round goal against Hart, who was playing for Shrewsbury Town back in 2005, to look back on in his personal FA Cup memoirs.

He told FATV: "I don't think he (Hart) was too happy, as it was 4-0 late on in the game and there was talk of him getting a move to Manchester City the very next day.

"I popped up with a diving header and ran off celebrating like it was the winning goal, even though it was 4-0 to them at the time.

"But it means a lot to me, I've got it on DVD and it was on Match Of The Day, so I enjoyed it!"

Quinton is something of a legend at the Essex club, having played in nearly 600 games for the Iron over the last decade and he reckons the Conference Premier outfit have a decent opportunity to cause a classic Cup upset against Ronnie Moore's men.

"We're just all looking forward to it, we've got nothing to lose," he added.

"They aren't going to fancy coming here and on the day, it's anyone's game, whoever is up for it."
