Louis Briscoe was the hero for Mansfield Town as his 77th-minute winner against Lincoln City set up a massive FA Cup Third Round clash with Liverpool.

Having drawn 3-3 in the first game ten days ago, the Conference Premier rivals went head to head again for the replay at the One Call Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Stags took the lead in the 14th minute when John Dempster's effort hit the woodwork and rebounded back into the net off unfortunate Imps 'keeper Paul Farman.

Adam Smith struck a superb equaliser for David Holdsworth's visitors just before half-time.

But Briscoe's late strike wrapped up a 2-1 victory for Paul Cox's side and earned them a mouthwatering meeting at home with last season's losing Finalists on 6 January.
