Mark Yates says Hereford United will not be underestimated on Tuesday night, as his Cheltenham Town side target a place in the Third Round Proper.

The winners have the prize of a home game with Premier League giants Everton in the next round and after the League Two outfit were held in the first game a week ago, Yates knows it won't be an easy game.

And with Hereford enjoying home advantage for the replay, the former Burnley coach and Kidderminster Harriers boss feels his team's attitude will need to be spot-on.

"We have to make sure we're solid, we have to make sure we try and play the way we want to play with a bit of tempo, but sides don't always let you," said Yates, ahead of the short trip west.

"We know what they're about, we just need to make sure that we play for the 90 minutes like we did for the first 15 against them last week.

"There's no way we're going to take them anything other than majorly seriously. They're a good side with good players and we have to be on top of our game."

Yates is fully aware of the Bulls' qualities, having paid close attention to their most recent Conference game, which saw them win 2-0 at Barrow on Friday.

And Martin Foyle's team are set to have a big crowd willing them on with ticket sales for the match going well at Edgar Street.

He added: "I listened to the commentary from their game against Barrow (where Hereford won 2-0 on Friday). They're a good side and they've got some powerful players.

"They gave one or two (players) a breather on Friday by the looks of it, so I expect to be confronted by pretty much the same team that started against us."
