Kirkley & Pakefield were the big winners on an entertaining night of FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round action as they recorded an impressive 7-3 win at Sawbridgeworth Town to advance to the next phase of the competition.

Having played out a 1-1 draw at Walmer Road on Saturday, Kirkley upped their game, with a brace each from Scott Woodcock and Ross Catchpole consigning Sawbridgeworth Town to a thumping defeat.

Meanwhile, South Shields won by the odd goal in 11 against Darlington Railway Athletic following a pulsating encounter at Brinkburn Road.

Elsewhere, Wisbech Town and Hanworth Villa also turned in impressive displays on Tuesday night, with the former despatching Desborough Town 5-2, and the latter storming to a 5-1 victory at Bethnal Green United.
