Henri Lansbury has been through Cup triumph and Cup despair this season.
The Arsenal midfielder was part of the victorious FA Youth Cup winning team, which defeated Liverpool 6-2 on aggregate on Tuesday evening after a 2-1 win in the second leg at Anfield.
Lansbury went on-loan to League One Scunthorpe between February and April, which included a starting berth in the Football League Trophy Final at Wembley. Scunthorpe lost 3-2 to Luton but later won the Play-Off final to win promotion to the Championship, a game Lansbury missed.
"It's just a great feeling to win it," Lansbury said of Arsenal's FA Youth Cup triumph. "It's one of the worst feelings I've ever had to lose in a Final.
"It's great to come and win here and it's an experience to remember. I think we've done well."
Lansbury said winning a trophy at such an early stage of his career was crucial.
"Very important," he said. "It's the feeling of winning that gets into everyone's blood and now everybody just wants to win."
Lansbury played in three League Cup games for Arsenal last season and hopes to break through to the first team off the back of his FA Youth Cup performances.
"It gives you a chance and if you get a chance, you've got to take it," he said. "It's a massive jump. You've just got to take your chance and be ready when it comes."
