All The Vase’s ‘big guns’ enter the competition at this stage and those include last season’s Finalists, Whitley Bay and Glossop North End. Both have been drawn at home: Bay, Wembley winners in May, host Alsager Town from the North West Counties League, while runners-up Glossop North End face Dunston UTS from the Northern League.
Wembley FC, almost in the shadow the Stadium arch, entertain Hoddesdon Town, the first-ever Vase winners in 1975. Poole Town, with 11 wins out of 11 in the Wessex League, travel to Brislington, the Western League side from Bristol.
