Tooting and Mitcham United may have already booked their place in The FA Cup First Round Proper but the Isthmian Premier side are desperate for yet more glory.

United, who take on Southern Premier side Chippenham Town in The FA Trophy this weekend, came out on top in a seven goal thriller against Eastbourne Borough on Tuesday night to set up a clash with Stockport County next month.

Their 4-3 victory, which came following a pulsating period of extra-time finally ended their 32-year wait for a place in the First Round Proper of the world's most famous domestic cup competition.

But Director of Football Nigel Wood, insists his men have put the Stockport tie to back of their minds ahead of Saturday's clash at Hardenhuish Park.

"It gives us confidence ahead of the game against Chippenham and we are going there to win as well and we never lie down for anyone," said Wood.

"Everything we do in the cup games is an added bonus but we want to pick up another win on Saturday.

"We are still in a little bit of shock from winning on Tuesday night and Stockport is our cup final, but we intend to go to Chippenham and try our best to win."
