Wealdstone’s FA Cup dream came to an end after League Two Rotherham recorded  a 3-2 victory over the non-League minnows.

Adam Le Fondre opened the scoring just past the half-hour mark before Kevin Ellison grabbed a second just before the break.

Ryan Ashe got the home side back in it on 62 minutes after firing home from just outside the box but Drewe Broughton’s header restored Rotherham’s two-goal lead.

Ashe ensured there would be a nervous few minutes for Ronnie Moore’s men by smashing home from close-range but the visitors held on for the win.

Rotherham will now face a home tie against either Luton or Rochdale in the next round after they played out a pulsating 3-3 draw at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Oxford City gave League Two side Burton Albion a real fright at the Pirelli Stadium before Ryan Austin's stoppage-time strike won it for the hosts.

Austin struck in the sixth minute of injury time to break City hearts and set up a Second Round clash with Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium.

It was harsh on the visitors, who more than held their own in a hard-fought contest in the Midlands but with just six minutes on the clock, Michael Alexis stunned the hosts with a classy close-range finish to give City the lead.

But their advantage last just eight minutes after Shaun Harrad was fouled inside the penalty area and the striker picked himself up to stroke home the equaliser.

And with less than a minute of the first-half remaining, the home side edged in front when Jacques Maghoma bundled the ball home to ease the nerves of the Albion faithful.

Any thoughts that Burton would simply sweep their opponents aside were thoroughly misplaced and Jamie Brooks headed City level ten minutes after the break.

But with the visitors eyeing a replay, Austin struck the killer blow as Burton crept into Round Two.
