High-flying Dartford have been in imperious form in the Isthmian Premier so far this season and will be looking to inflict a cup double on struggling Chipstead after knocking them out of The FA Cup last month when they clash in The FA Trophy Second Round Qualifying.
So far this season, Dartford have won 11 of their 12 league matches to build up an 11 point lead whilst having scored more than three goals a game on average. Meanwhile, Chipstead sit 21st in the Isthmian Division One South having won just once in the league.
"We are obviously delighted with the position that we have been in and we didn't expect to be doing this well," said club secretary Peter Martin.
"We are taking each game as it comes and the manager, Tony Burman, is only focusing on the next game and trying to keep our feet on the ground but there is optimism that we could win the league."
Dartford secured a 6-1 win against Chipstead at High Road in The FA Cup, one of the nine victories in nine matches the Darts have achieved on the road this season.
"I know we beat Chipstead earlier this season but we are going to treat the game as we would treat any other game and disregard that it happened," added Martin.
On whether a Cup run would be important, Martin stated: "Obviously the league is the priority but it would be nice to go on a cup run, plus the prize money is always helpful.
"We played Chelmsford (in the Conference South) a few weeks ago and suffered a 4-1 defeat in The FA Cup, but that scoreline wasn't reflective of the game and how we played. We'd like to get another chance at a Conference club to test ourselves."
