Staines normally play to crowds of around 400 but today 2,753 fans packed into Wheatsheaf Park to see their side take on League One Millwall.
Staines, who lie 13th in the Conference South, began the match as the second lowest ranked team remaining in the competition.
Millwall continue to push for promotion in League One but will have been relieved to head back to south London still in this season’s competition.
A goalless first half failed to reflect an end-to-end 45 minutes that could have seen goals at either end. Chris Hackett and Alan Dunne both saw rasping long-range strikes saved by Staines goalkeeper Vince Wells, while at the other end Chabaan and Richard Butler both brought the best out of Millwall’s David Forde.
Millwall captain Robinson finally opened the scoring on 69 minutes. The defender rose highest at the back post to head Hackett’s swirling corner under the crossbar and beyond Wells.
However, Staines continued to pour forward and their concerted pressure was finally rewarded when Darren Ward brought down Butler inside the penalty area.
Chaaban stepped up to cooly convert from 12 yards, sealing Staines a richly deserved replay at The Den.
