Gary McAllister confessed he needs to do his homework on his next opponents after Leeds booked a place with Histon in the Second Round of The FA Cup.
Steve Fallon's side shocked Swindon in the First Round and McAllister knows his side will be in for a fight.
He said: "I know very little about them, I will watch them very soon but we will underestimate them at our peril."
Jermaine Beckford netted a treble as Leeds eased past Northampton 5-2, with further strikes from Ben Parker and an own goal from Mark Hughes.
McAllister made six changes from Saturday's disappointing 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield, including a debut to perennial injury victim Malcolm Christie.
Christie said: "I was shocked to play because I have only been fit for a few weeks. I am here on a non-contract basis at the moment and I want to prove myself."
There was no fairytale goal for football's forgotten man, but Christie linked up well with Beckford, who ended his seven-game barren spell with a brilliant treble.
"That's football for you. You go seven games without a goal and then they all come at once. It's just about gambling, really. I gambled for a few of my chances and luckily it paid off," Beckford said.
Jason Crowe pulled one back to make it 3-1 and added a consolation in injury time but the hosts were always on the ropes.
McAllister added: "It's nice to know we were in the next round. It was a difficult place to come for us and for the first time in a couple of weeks we got the rub of the green."
