Final repeat

The FA Cup sponsored by E.ON
Sixth Round Proper draw
Monday 19 February
Ties to be played the weekend of 10 and 11 March 2007
Winning clubs receive £300,000 from The FA

There are just eleven clubs left in the 126th FA Cup competition, with 676 clubs already dreaming of next season.

Today's Sixth Round draw, made by Steve McClaren and Terry Venables at Soho Square, gave us two clear-cut ties.

Chelsea, at home for the fourth time in this season's Cup, take on Tottenham Hotspur for a repeat of the 1967 Final. Spurs won that first all-London Final 2-1 with Venables in the side.

Plymouth Argyle, the only Championship club definitely through to the last eight, have a home tie with Premiership strugglers Watford. The teams last met in the 1984 Semi-Final at Villa Park, when George Reilly's goal took the Hornets to Wembley.

When Manchester United won The Cup in 1948, they had to play top division opposition in every round from the Third Round to the Final. That could still happen again this season, with Manchester United or Reading down to visit Middlesbrough or West Brom.

The Sixth Round ties will be played on 10 and 11 March.

1     Middlesbrough or WBA v Man United or Reading
2     Arsenal or Blackburn v Manchester City
3     Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur
4     Plymouth v Watford
