Fourth Round draw

Fourth Round Proper Draw
3.25pm (approx), Sunday 4 January 2009
Soho Square

The draw for the Fourth Round of The FA Cup sponsored E.ON took place at Soho Square on Sunday afternoon, where two FA Cup Final heroes picked the numbers.

MK Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo, a winner and scorer with Chelsea in both the 1997 and 2000 Finals joined Wimbledon's goalkeeping legend Dave Beasant, who saved a penalty against Liverpool to help the Crazy Gang lift The Cup in 1988, to make the draw.

The draw has thrown out several interesting ties too, none more so than the first one drawn out as Liverpool and Everton were paired together for a Merseyside derby at Anfield.

There will also be local pride at stake in the East Midlands, as Derby County were drawn out to face Nottingham Forest at Pride Park.

Non-League Kettering Town were handed a home tie against Premiership opposition, as Fulham make the trip to Rockingham Road whilst West Ham United also face a trip north to play Hartlepool United, who beat Stoke City on Saturday.

The Fourth Round matches will be played on the weekend of 24 January.
