'Anything can happen'

Last season saw Cardiff City reach The FA Cup Final and whilst the ambition at Ninian Park is to enjoy another run in the competition, they know they have been given a tough test in the Fourth Round.

The Bluebirds were handed a home tie with Arsenal in Sunday's draw and whilst everyone at Ninian Park acknowledges the challenge on offer, midfielder Joe Ledley is hopeful the Welsh side can upset the odds.

"Anything can happen in football and if we can play as well as we can, then we've a good enough chance," admitted Ledley (left), who put in an impressive performance against Portsmouth at Wembley last May.

"We proved last season that anyone has a chance in The Cup.

"Arsenal have great players all the way through their team and it will be difficult for us but we can cope with that.

"If you look at the quality, pace and power in our team, we have a chance."

One advantage Dave Jones' team can take into the game is the fact that they are sure to have a noisy and big crowd behind them at Ninian Park creating something of a hostile atmosphere for the visiting Gunners.

"The fans will be chuffed with the draw and I think the game will be a sell out - I don't think they could have asked for a better team," added Ledley.

"Arsenal are a great footballing side and everyone likes how they play, so it'll be great to test ourselves against the very best.

"It'll be a good game to watch and if the crowd get behind us a lift and put pressure on Arsenal."
