Semi-Final
5.15pm Saturday 18 April 2009
Wembley Stadium
Winning clubs will receive £1m from The FA

90+3 mins - Atkinson blows the full-time whistle and Chelsea are through to The FA Cup Final, after coming from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 at Wembley. They await the winners of the Manchester United v Everton Semi-Final which will take place tomorrow at 4pm.

90+1 mins - Drogba, Slivestre and Toure collide on the Chelsea goal-line.

90 mins - Arshavin almost equalises for Arsenal in the last minute. He takes the ball down in the box, cuts in on his right foot, but his shot is brilliantly blocked by Alex for a corner.

89 mins - There will be three minutes of added on time.

86 mins - Samir Nasri comes on for Denilson.

84 mins - GOAL! Drogba gives Chelsea the lead with just six minutes remaining. Lampard finds Chelsea's no.11 with a bouncing through ball. Fabianski rushes out to narrow the angle, but Drogba side-step's the Pole and passes the ball into an open net. He was booked for his celebration.

83 mins - Both teams make a change as we enter the final ten minutes. Saloman Kalou comes on for Anelka, whilst Nicklas Bendtner replaces Adebayor.

79 mins - Drogba outmuscles Eboue, his Ivorian counterpart, on the Chelsea left but the ball runs away from him for an Arsenal goal kick.

75 mins - Andrey Arshavin replaces van Persie with just 15 minutes to go.

73 mins - Denilson becomes the third player to receive a caution.

71 mins - Malouda tries a speculative shot from an acute angle, and considering the distance, it doesn't fall too far wide.

70 mins - Chelsea appeals for a penalty are dismissed by Atkinson after Drogba and Mikael Silvestre come together inside the box.

68 mins - Anelka heads over at the far post moments before Drogba centres for Lampard inside the Gunners box. The midfielder has to contend with the waist-high cross and his volley flashes narrowly wide.

66 mins - Fabregas back-heels for Walcott down the right. The winger skips past his England team-mate Terry and chips the ball to the near post for Diaby who is steaming in. Diaby flings himself at the ball but fails to connect. The ball falls to van Persie who shoots over.

59 mins - A wonderful piece of skill from Diaby sees him evade Essien, allowing him to find Walcott wide on the right. Walcott's far post cross is meant for van Persie, but sliding in, the Dutchman misses the ball by inches.

55 mins - Both sets of fans are in good voice as they try to urge their respective teams to victory.

52 mins - van Persie sends in a delightful cross from the left which is met by Adebayor, but under pressure, the Togolese front man cannot make the most of the teasing ball.

48 mins - Adebayor has the first chance of the second period after Diaby's centre is only half-cleared by Alex. The tall forward draws back his right foot but his half volley is wild and the ball bends wide.

46 mins - Lampard and Drogba get the second half underway. There have been no substitutions at the interval.

45+2 mins - An Ivanovic throw-in is flicked on by Drogba inside the Arsenal area. Anelka climbs to head goalwards, but Fabianski is again untroubled. That is to be the last action from an exciting 45 minutes of football as Martin Atkinson blows for half-time.

45 mins - There will be two added minutes before half-time.

44 mins - After Lampard lets the ball run away from him, Essien drives the loose ball goalwards, but it is fairly central and Fabianski can gather with ease. Ballack is booked for an earlier foul on Cesc Fabregas.

38 mins - Ivanovic picks up the first yellow card of the afternoon following a foul on van Persie.

37 mins - This Semi-Final is really hotting up. Arsenal fail to clear a cross from Branislav Ivanovic and former Gunner, Nicolas Anelka, hits the foot of the post from 18 yards out.

33 mins - GOAL! Malouda equalises for Chelsea. He takes down a long ball from Lampard, cuts inside on his right foot and finds the back of net from just inside the area.

26 mins - The game has started to open up a little. After dispossessing Toure on the halfway line, Lampard finds Drogba with a through ball. Instead of taking advantage of the space ahead, the Ivorian forward attempts a curler from distance, but it flies harmlessly over the bar.

25 mins - Abou Diaby skips beyond Michael Ballack and plays in Walcott on the inside left, but his looping shot is easy for Petr Cech to deal with.

23 mins - Lampard attempts a drive from distance but fails to connect cleanly and this makes for a comfortable save for the Arsenal 'keeper.

22 mins - Chelsea push forward in search of an equaliser and Florent Malouda is found by Cole inside the Arsenal area, but his low cross-cum-shot bends just beyond Fabianski's far post.

18 mins - GOAL! Walcott opens the scoring for Arsenal in front of the Chelsea fans. Emmanuel Adebayor plays in Gibbs down the left and his cross is swept home by Walcott's left foot via Cole's hand.

16 mins - Arsenal's right hand side is carrying the greater menace in the opening period with Walcott and Emmauel Eboue seeing plenty of the ball. Drogba attempts to evade Kolo Toure on the by-line but his cut-back only finds Lukasz Fabianski.

14 mins - Lampard trips Walcott on the right, presenting Arsenal with a free-kick out wide. van Persie swings it in with his left foot, but Michael Essien stabs the ball away.

10 mins - A free-kick from Alex is cleared by Robin van Persie on the edge of the Arsenal area, moments before Ashley Cole is fouled on the left. Frank Lampard's subsequent free-kick fails to trouble the Gunners' rearguard.

5 mins - Theo Walcott stretches his legs on the right wing for the first time this afternoon, but Terry blocks his path to goal.

4 mins - Kieran Gibbs rescues Arsenal after a long ball from Chelsea skipper John Terry is headed goalwards by Didier Drogba. Racing back towards his own goal-line, Gibbs slides in to knock the ball out for a throw-in.

2 mins - Arsene Wenger's side take the game to Chelsea in the opening two minutes, passing and probing around the Blues' box.

Kick-off - After a tribute to the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, Arsenal get this season's first FA Cup Semi-Final underway at Wembley Stadium.
