Third Round Proper draw
Ties to be played 2 and 3 January 2010

The draw for the Third Round Proper of The FA Cup took place at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

British Olympic legend Sir Steven Redgrave and England Women's star Kelly Smith, both ambassadors of England's 2018 World Cup bid, made the draw, which lined up a possible trip to Old Trafford for Kettering Town, should they overcome Leeds in the Second Round Replay.

Holders Chelsea have been handed a home tie with Watford while there are three all-Premier League clashes; West Ham United v Arsenal, Aston Villa v Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic v Hull City.

Liverpool are away to Reading, Merseyside rivals Everton are at home to Carlisle United and Middlesbrough welcome Manchester City to the Riverside.

Staines Town, who earned a replay with Millwall, will face a home tie with Derby County if they can come away from the Den with a win next week.
