Bid appointments made

England’s World Cup Bid Company, ‘England 2018 Ltd.’ is delighted to announce three new appointments to its Executive Management team.

Simon Johnson is named Chief Operating Officer after a six-month stint in the role as Acting COO. His previous role with The Football Association at Soho Square was as Director of Corporate Affairs.

Jane Bateman is another appointee from The FA and will take up the role of Director of Campaign Operations after eight years as Head of International Relations at Soho Square.

The Bid Company is also delighted to announce the arrival of a member of the successful London 2012 Olympic campaign as David Magliano joins as Director of Commercial and Marketing.

David has also previously been sales and Marketing Director with commercial airline, Easyjet.
