What is a FAN?
FAN stands for Football Association Number. Having a FAN is just like having a PIN for football. It's your unique code, allowing you access to exclusive areas of TheFA.com. To obtain a FAN, please
click here. Then go to the Ticket Ballot website at TheFA.com/englandballot.
 

How do I register for the Germany ticket ballot?
As long as you have a FAN, you can access www.thefa.com/EnglandBallot to register for the Germany ticket ballot. You can also enter the Ticket Ballots for the remaining England home games this year at Wembley.

When can I apply for the England v Germany ticket ballot?
Registration opened on Thursday 31 May 2007 and will close at 5.00pm on Monday 2 July. Only registrations completed during this period will be considered for the Ballot.


Does it matter when I apply?
No, as long as you apply before the deadline your application will be entered into the ballot.

How do I apply for tickets within the disabled section?
Fans who require disabled access to the stadium can apply using www.thefa.com/EnglandBallot, please remember to tick the relevant box when completing the form.

How many tickets can I apply for?
Fans can apply in groups of up to four people, as long as each person has a FAN.

Does everyone in the group have to have an e-mail address?
Yes, everyone in the ballot group must have an individual e-mail address. If you do not have an e-mail address these can be easily set up using one of the many free to use e-mail providers e.g. Hotmail.

Is it possible to apply for Tickets for a larger group (more than 4 people)?
No, applications are limited to four persons per group.

Do englandfans members get priority?
Yes, englandfans members get priority access to tickets during a three day sale period. For more information, please visit www.thefa.com/englandfans

Can englandfans members also apply through the ballot?
Yes, if an englandfans member wishes to sit with non-members, they can apply via the ballot. As long as they have not already used their FAN in the priority sale period.

Does everyone in my group need to register?
Yes, everyone in the group needs to register with their FAN. They will then receive an e-mail confirming that their ballot application has been processed

What should I do if I forget my Ballot Reference Number?
The reference number is e-mailed to everyone in your group, you can also check to see if your application has been submitted successfully by re-entering www.thefa.com/EnglandBallot

What should I do if I forgot my password?
You can retrieve your password by visiting the FAN registration form and then click on the retrieve details section.

How will I be notified of the ballot result?
E-mails will be sent to everyone who has entered the Ballot by Friday 6 July informing applicants of their ballot result.

Can I change or update information within my Ballot Application?
Yes – the lead member of the ballot application can access www.thefa.com/EnglandBallot and edit details or change the composition of the group.

If I am successful when will I have to pay for the tickets?
Anyone successful in the Ballot will be able to claim their tickets during a designated period to be advised to those successful in the Ballot.

Which price categories will be available?
This will depend on what tickets are remaining following the englandfans priority sale.

Can I specify which price category I want?
Success in the ballot does not guarantee a particular seat or price of seat. Available seats will be allocated during the sale period on a first come, first served basis.

When will tickets be delivered?
Tickets will be despatched to everyone who successfully purchased tickets in the first week in August.

Will the tickets be personalised?
All tickets will carry a unique reference number that will be linked to the FAN numbers used to purchase the tickets.

Does my ticket entitle me to use public transport?
No, fans using public transport must purchase a ticket valid for travel on match day.

Are there tickets available at reduced rates?
Yes, tickets within the family enclosure will be priced at £30 for adults, £15 for juniors (under 16).

Will all the tickets allocated to me be for adjacent seats?
If you are allocated tickets you will be able to choose your seats (depending on availability) during the sale period when successful members will be able to purchase tickets.

Will tickets be replaced if they are damaged?
No, we will not be issuing duplicate tickets for this match.

Will tickets be replaced if they are lost or stolen?
We will not be issuing duplicate tickets for this match.

Can tickets be used for commercial purposes, for example as a prize for a competition or as part of a travel package?
No, tickets are for personal use only.
