Media Operations Administrator (Ref: MOA/COMMS/0208)
Six month contract (Maternity cover)

A vacancy has arisen for a Media Operations Administrator. This role will assist in media operations for FA staged matches and other areas of the Communications Division as necessary.


Key responsibilities include:
• Media operations for all FA staged matches. Liaising both internally and externally with Wembley Stadium ensuring the smooth running of match days at Wembley.
• Assisting in all areas of accreditation for home and away games, using the on-line accreditation system and processing all applicants. Update media database after each match.
• Liaising with media in respect of the above.
• Assisting in planning media/PR events for the Communications Division.
• Dealing with general incoming calls to the department, supporting media relations team and overseeing the upkeep of the office.

The successful candidate will need to possess the following:
• Proven ability and experience in an administration role.
• Highly accurate administration skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent IT skills.
• The ability to grasp new IT programmes quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to work at times long and possibly unsociable hours, including some weekends.
• Ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders in a firm yet empathetic manner.
• A good knowledge of football/football personnel.

Previous experience of working with the media or PR and a genuine passion for newspapers and broadcast news are all highly desirable.
