The Football Association today confirmed that it has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for its audio-visual rights for the United Kingdom (excluding the Republic of Ireland).
The ITT will cover the four year period commencing the 2008/09 season.
The ITT will invite bids across a number of packages associated with The FA Cup, England matches (including Women’s and all development teams) as well as other FA Club Competitions which include the Community Shield, Youth Cup, The FA Trophy and The FA Vase.
There are 15 (fifteen) live match packages which are complemented by additional packages for highlights, near-live services, video-on-demand and clips for both mobile and internet use.
This is the broadest set of rights packages that the The FA have offered and have been devised to ensure that The FA’s games are widely available to a range of different audiences and via a variety of viewing platforms.
All interested parties should contact The FA’s Commercial and Broadcast Manager James Elliott by email James.Elliott@TheFA.com to request a copy of the tender.
