The FA welcomes the All Party Football Group’s interest in the game and the work it has put into consulting with clubs about its report on ‘Football and its Finances’.

The opinions and recommendations of the Group on the role of The FA will be considered as part of the Structural Review of The FA.

The FA is pleased to note that many of the views expressed by respondents reflect the work stream that is being undertaken by The FA’s Financial Advisory Committee.

We are also pleased that many of the results in the ‘Community’ section reflect the hard work of the clubs concerned, and that the Group has recognised the positive role that football can and does play in society. There are many more examples of this among the 37,500 football clubs in England.
