The Committee will meet in the near future under Kate's lead, to consider a number of key issues in the game, including the possibility of a Fit and Proper Person Test for directors of football clubs. Meetings have been held recently on this topic to consider the introduction of a new procedure.

The Committee's remit also includes consideration of the overall financial health of clubs, and consideration and regulation of material transactions. It does not include advice on investment of funds by clubs.

Kate Barker is a member of the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England. Until recently, she has been a member of the Independent Football Commission with particular responsibilities for financial matters.
