From West Ham to Wembley

Schoolboy Jonjo Heuerman will embark on 23-mile walk to help beat cancer.

Schoolboy and young fundraiser extraordinaire Jonjo Heuerman is aiming to score a football triumph by uniting rival fans to help beat cancer in a 23-mile walk from Wembley Stadium to West Ham.

Jonjo, who first undertook the route last year, is repeating the feat next week and asking on-pitch rivalry to be put aside with fans from each of the league clubs in the UK invited to don their football strip and walk alongside him.

Jonjo will be sent on his way by The FA’s Director of Football Development Sir Trevor Brooking and he will be raising money for bowel cancer research in support of the Bobby Moore Fund, a long-term charity partner of The FA.

Stephanie Moore MBE, founder of the Bobby Moore Fund said: “I’m so impressed by Jonjo and his dedication to raising money for the charity in memory of his nanny. Last year’s walk was a fantastic occasion and I’m delighted that he continues to support the Fund.”

Fans can join any part of the three-day walk through London from February 23-25.  To find out how, click here or call 020 8301 1713
