The FA have a vacancy for an Application Support Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Application Support Analyst, their main job purpose will be to provide MS and FA Application support to our ever growing FA clients (including not limited to Wembley, Lilleshall, home workers and County FAs) of The FA’s bespoken applications (including CAS, FULL-TIME, County Website Application)
Key Accountabilities:-
• Provide support on MS Office applications.
• Provide support on The FA’s bespoken applications.
• Use HEAT to log and manage workload – calls must be logged at time placed, and closed in Heat the same day issues are resolved. All call information should be informative, succinct, and accurate.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures. Update existing documented procedures and contribute new documentation whenever needed.
• Understand and explain IT policies [to users].
• Maintaining positive user relationships.
The ideal candidate:-
• Needs to be methodical, diligent, and give great attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills under pressure.
• The ability to capture and own issues – escalating only when appropriate.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Internet browsers.
• Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Basic website editing and administration.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability and personality to receive and resolve support issues over the telephone and must be able to lift small equipment (< 15 kilos).
