England’s training session will be closed in line with FIFA guidelines.
The media centre will be open at 11.30am and there will be a press conference with a player after training.
Friday 11 June: FIFA World Cup begins Official FIFA media activity at the stadium in Rustenburg. 6pm open training session for 15 minutes, followed by press conference with Fabio Capello at 7.15pm.

Media centre opens at 9.30am, open training for 15 minutes at 10.30am. 12.30pm, media centre closes. No press conference.
Wednesday 16 JuneEngland’s training session will be closed in line with FIFA guidelines.

AM Squad travel to Cape Town, arrive lunch time.
6pm Open training session at stadium in Cape Town
followed by press conference with Fabio Capello

10.30am, open training session, followed by press conference with Frank Lampard.

9.45am Media Centre opens
10.30am Training session at base camp (open training for first 15 minutes)
4pm squad fly to Port Elizabeth
6.45pm Press conference at match stadium for FIFA accredited media

Squad return to base camp after the match.

Details of media activity at the England Media Centre throughout the tournament to be confirmed in due course. Updates will be on TheFA.com and on a daily basis in the media centre.
Access to open training sessions and media conferences will be on production of FIFA Accreditation/or by invitation only.
Drivers who do not have accreditation will not be able to enter the site and will need to drop media off outside.
Access to the media centre and all training sessions may require a search as a condition of entry. Bags and equipment should be kept to a minimum and non essential items should not be brought onto the site.
The FA will provide a daily catering service in the media centre and will provide complimentary hot and cold drinks. Additionally a wide selection of hot and cold lunches will be available for media to purchase.
