Editorial Assistant, TheFA.com
Role Profile

TheFA.com, the official website of The Football Association, is looking to recruit an Editorial Assistant to become a key part of its content team based here at Soho Square.

The role requires someone who is passionate about the game to maintain editorial output of the site and is prepared to keep it up-to-date at all times, often outside of normal office hours.

As well as providing regular updates of TheFA.com's wealth of static information pages and content, the position will also require the ability to contribute a prolific output of news stories on England, The FA Cup and all FA activities for the website as well as our vast array of FA and England match programmes. Therefore both a creative and diligent mindset is required.

In return, we are offering an unparalleled opportunity to work in football and report on the English game at all levels.

The successful candidate will have either journalistic experience or qualifications, or a combination of both. Computer literacy is a must while web editing, HTML, Photoshop, video production and proof reading skills would also be an advantage.

Communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships both within The FA and the world of football will be key assets.

The dedication and desire to learn, allied with large doses of drive, ambition and team-work are all a must.

If this unique opportunity interests you, please apply by sending your CV and a covering letter explaining why you are suitable for this role, along with your current/last salary by either email or post;
