We are delighted to announce that The FA has raised over £55,000 for the NSPCC's FULL STOP Campaign over the last year. Thanks to a 50p donation from every programme sold during last season's FA Cup Final and Semi-Finals, the FA has been able to make this substantial contribution to one of the country's most deserving causes.

And the partnership between The FA and the NSPCC does not stop there. While we have thrown our weight behind the FULL STOP CAMPAIGN the NSPCC's Child Protection Sports Unit has also provided valuable advice on developing the FA's Child Protection In Sport policies.

Following this, the NSPCC/FA Child Protection Helpline (0808 800 5000) was set up as a 24-hour freephone telephone service, providing confidential advice, information and support to anyone who has concerns about the welfare of children in football related activities.

David Davies, The FA's Executive Director told TheFA.com: "The money that we have been able to raise through this programme initiative is a wonderful and substantial way for us to contribute to a very special campaign. The FULL STOP CAMPAIGN and the NSPCC is general have a strong connection with football and sport in general and the FA will continue to support them in any way possible."

Joanna Burns, Development Manager Sports at the NSPCC, said: "We are very grateful to the Football Association for this contribution and for their continued support. We look forward to working together with them in the future to end cruelty to children and to ensure they have someone to turn to."
