Referees are the next in line for checks by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Unit as The FA continues to ensure that football is a safe and enjoyable environment for children.
The key role played by referees is making sure that best practice happens in football cannot be over-estimated, and The FA have been working for some time on a programme that means all referees will complete some form of child protection training.
The cost will be £7.50 plus £33 if you are taking a taxable income from the game.
The FA CRB Unit can be contacted on 0800 085 0506
