In January 2004, FA Learning took its first steps on a revolutionary road in the delivery of official football qualifications with the launch of Online Psychology for Soccer Level One. 

One year later we were delighted to announce more than 1500 students on this course alone and our further commitment to invest in future online courses throughout 2005.

Today, FA Learning can confirm that we are now more than half way through the roll out of 11 new online courses/resources and from the courses that are now live (listed below) we have added a further 1000 students already this year.

The courses that are now live and available to anyone with internet access (and therefore reading this article!) are: 

  • Psychology for Soccer Level One
  • Fitness for Football Level One
  • Laws of the Game
  • Running a Club (Administration)
  • Soccer Camp Coach
  • Disciplinary

The courses offer a great introduction to a number of subjects as well as being designed to offer already qualified participants the opportunity to supplement their existing learning and expertise.

All students that complete the courses will be sent an FA Learning certificate that can be used to (where applicable) to retain existing qualifications, assist in the starting on the qualification ladder or simply as a way to increase understanding and experience in a flexible, engaging online environment.

The amount of time taken to complete the courses will vary from just a few hours for the shorter courses compared with 10-12 hours for the more detailed qualifications.

However, all students will have at least six months to complete the courses, meaning that whether you want to finish as quickly as possible or study for just 30 minutes a week, the learner will have complete flexibility.
