Child Protection is an area that The FA has worked hard to promote in recent years and this new online course is the latest development in supporting the welfare of all young participants.

This course is an excellent introduction in how to ensure that children have fun and are safe in football.

Designed for parents, helpers, administrators and anyone with an interest in youth football, Child Protection Online offers sound guidance on prevention through best practice, what poor abuse looks like in football, the legal and procedural context and dealing with any concerns.

Benefits to learning online with FA Learning:

  • Learn online at your own pace and in your own time
  • Learn all you need to know about The FA’s disciplinary process
  • 6 months access to the online course from the date of enrolment
  • FA Learning certificate sent to your home on completion of the course

In order to complete the course we anticipate most learners will require approximately 6 hours of study time, but to ensure learners can take the course in their own time and at their own pace everyone is given 6-months 24/7 access.

Please be aware that the online child protection course is not the equivalent of the 3-hour child protection workshop and any participant looking to take an FA Learning taught course can take the online course but will still be required to complete the 3-hour workshop.
