At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, Derby County manager Billy Davies was given a one match touchline ban with immediate effect.

Davies was also fined a total of £1,750 in relation to incidents during Derby's match against Southend United in January 2007.

Davies was first charged with using abusive and/or insulting words towards a Match Official during the match at Roots Hall on 20 January. The Commission found this charge proved and fined Davies £1,000 and gave him a one-match touchline ban.

A second charge was of using abusive and/or insulting words towards a Southend United FC Club Official. The Commission also found this charge proved and Davies was warned as to future conduct and fined £750.
