The clubs were charged following a mass confrontation involving players and officials from both teams during the match at Oakwell on Monday 9 April.

Barnsley and Birmingham admitted failing to ensure that their players and/or club officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.

Barnsley were fined £7,500 while Birmingham were fined £6,000 by the Commission.
