Chelsea have received a £30,000 fine and West Ham have been warned about their future conduct after both sides failed to control their supporters during a Carling Cup tie last year.
At a Disciplinary Commission sanctions hearing, Chelsea and West Ham United were reprimanded and warned as to their future conduct.
Chelsea were also fined £30,000 and no financial penalty was imposed on West Ham United.
The Personal Hearing fee will be retained for both clubs and both Chelsea and West Ham having asked for a Personal Hearing will be ordered to pay 50% of the adjusted costs.
The two clubs were charged with failing to ensure that spectators, and/or persons purporting to be its supporters or followers, conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from threatening and/or violent and/or provocative behaviour.
These charges were found to be proven at a Disciplinary Commission hearing on 25 October.
The charges related to the behaviour of supporters during the Carling Cup match at Stamford Bridge on 27 October 2004.
