At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, Crystal Palace manager Iain Dowie received a one match touchline ban and was fined £3,000.
Dowie admitted using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official.
The charge related to his conduct during Palace's match against Reading on 13 September.
