Keegan was charged for abusive and insulting words or behaviour to referee Steve Dunn following the Premier League match at Newcastle United on Sunday 24 October.

In his response to The FA, Mr Keegan admitted the charge and he will not be seeking a personal hearing.

The case will be heard by a Disciplinary Commission on Thursday 4 November.

FA Rule E3 - General Behaviour
A Participant shall at all times act in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute or use any one, or a combination of, violent conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour.
