Fulham's Cole appeal
Thursday, 07 October 2004.
The FA has today received an appeal from Fulham FC following the decisions of yesterday's Disciplinary Commission with regard to the cases against Andrew Cole.
Cole received a two-match suspension for abusive and insulting words to a match official and a one-match ban for violent conduct. These suspensions are in addition to the automatic three-match suspension for his sending-off against West Bromwich Albion in September's Premiership meeting at the Hawthorns.
Cole was also fined £10,000.
The Appeal Board hearing is due to take place on Thursday 14th October.
