The FA can confirm that Ferguson has pleaded guilty to charges of violent behaviour (E2) and improper conduct (E1) during the match at Leicester City on Saturday 20 March 2004.

The player has requested a personal hearing.

The FA can further announce that it found insufficient evidence to charge Mr Ferguson, following allegations of racial abuse by Fulham player Luis Boa-Morte.
