Michael Ball charged for Twitter comments.
Leicester City’s Michael Ball has been charged with Improper Conduct in relation to comments made on Twitter on 29 November 2011.
The charge is that Ball acted in a way which was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute. It is further alleged that the breach included a reference to a person’s or persons’ sexual orientation.
Ball has until 4pm on Monday 16 January 2012 to respond to the charge.
