Join our newly created workforce of Mini Soccer Referee tutors
Mini Soccer needs referees. But who trains the referees?
To create quality referees, The FA must boast a qualified, specialist and diverse tutor workforce for each level of qualification and offer improved support.
This cohort of tutors will educate and shape the next generation of referees by teaching ideas, values, philosophy and principles.
We have recently produced a course to train people to be Mini Soccer referees and now seek applications from tutors who possess the right credentials to join our newly created workforce of Mini Soccer Referee tutors to support the delivery of the following courses and we welcome applications from all parts of the community as we seek to diversify our tutor workforce:
The benefits of becoming a Mini Soccer Referee Tutor include:
• An opportunity to be involved in the delivery of the first Mini Soccer Referee Qualification with an emphasis on practical delivery
• An opportunity to be part of training many of the young referees of the future and giving them their first experiences in football
All County Football Associations will be looking to deliver this course as part of their referee training programme and therefore applications from across the country will be welcome from those tutors who are a minimum of Level 1 Licensed Referee Tutor at present.
Details of the recruitment process and expectations of an FA Licenced tutor can be found in the Tutor Information Pack and the specific requirements for this course can be found in the Tutor Application Pack.
Please read the information pack before completing all sections of tutor application pack and return it to:
Tutor.recruitment@TheFA.com or send to Licenced Workforce & Programmes Coordinator, FA Learning, St George’s Park, Newborough Road, Needwood, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. DE13 9PD
The deadline for receipt of applications is Monday 1 July 2013. Any applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
Applications will then be reviewed and all successful parties will be advised by Friday 12 July.
Tutor training/familiarisation will take place regionally for the course with further details of dates/venues to follow for August/September.
Please note that should you be accepted as a potential new tutor, you will be required to attend the relevant training event when confirmed.
