Heroes Children Fund will be hoping Ipswich Town have a successful 2012-13 season.
Moreover, the children’s charity, which focuses on supporting the children of fallen heroes in society, will benefit financially from every Portman Road shut out, courtesy of Town new boy Scott Loach.
The former England Under-21 ‘keeper, and boyhood Ipswich fan, who signed from Watford in July, has pledged to donate 25 per cent of his clean sheet bonus to the charity.
Heroes Children Fund chairman Lewis Scott said: “Everybody connected with the charity would like to send their huge thanks to Scott for his continued support of the charity and his extremely kind generosity of donating his bonus to the cause.”
